Blow Injection Preform

This process is used to elaborate PET bottles for carbonated beverages, juices or purified water.

Is the most common process, because there are 28 mm standard preforms which are the most common in the market for this kind of products. First prefom must be manufactured by injection, liquid plastic is injected until reaches its perform shape (similar to an essay tube but in plastic) and after having the preform to get it soft and it can be molded by applying pressurized air and this way to take the whished shape form its containing mold.

1. Beginning from the preform.

2. It is injected into a temperized mold.

3. It is supported on a base.

4. Once this is done the injection mold is opened and the preform is moved into a blowing mold.

5. Without altering necks characteristics.

6. The container body is blown until it reaches its shape.

7. After this is expelled from the base in a third station.
